Snow Flower and the Secret Fan

Snow Flower and the Secret Fan is a beautifully written story that takes place in 19th century China. The novel begins with the foot binding of the narrator at age six. The author then continues to tell Lily's life stories for the next sixty years. She touches on love, loss, family, forgiveness...I highly recommend this book.
