Doc

I was suprised when I started reading "Doc," I would have never thought of Russell writing a western novel.  She portrays the richness of history and her characters through her flowing and descriptive prose.  We get a realistic look into the life of John Henry "Doc" Halliday (and his friends and foes) before the famous showdown at the O.K. Corral.  A very solid and satisfying story that I thoroughly enjoyed.
