The Next Continent
by Issui Ogawa
Simon and Schuster, $16.99

This was a fun, quick read. A Japanese organization is attempting to build a permanent destination resort on the moon. Not wanting to be outdone, the Americans decide to also put a facility up there. With many obstacles in the way, including poiltical and engineering issues, they both race to finish first. What I liked most about this book was seeing how the Americans were perceived in the eyes of the Japanese.
